Another week has passed. This week we received news that we can now go on exchanges, so I had the wonderful opportunity to be on exchanges with one of the assistants, Elder Peterson, this week. We didn't necessarily do anything very different than our regular schedule, but it was great to just be with another human for a day.
We also found out this week that Zone Conference will be held at the Far West temple site, which is sweeeeet! We're praying for good weather so we don't have to sit through the rain for 6 hours. I'm sure that will be a very memorable experience!
One of my favorite verses that I read this week in my personal study of the Book of Mormon is Alma 9:26, which says, "And not many days hence the Son of God shall come in his glory; and his glory shall be the glory of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace, equity, and truth, full of patience, mercy, and long-suffering, quick to hear the cries of his people and to answer their prayers." I love the description of Christ in these verses, especially that He is QUICK to hear our prayers. I know that prayer is an incredible way to maintain a connection with heaven and receive strength daily.
